Bally creates travel retail exclusive collection for DFS stores

Bally’s special-edition Trainspotting Collection is available exclusively at selected DFS Galleria stores

Swiss luxury leathergoods house Bally has created an exclusive men’s capsule collection based on its popular Trainspotting theme for travel retail partner DFS, which will be available in selected Galleria stores from November 2011.

Consisting of a casual red leather sneaker and three bags, the special-edition Trainspotting collection features the iconic black and white stripe synonymous with the Swiss brand.

Designed with modern male travellers in mind, each piece is crafted from sumptuous leathers and detailed with the brand’s iconic stripe for a contemporary edge, Bally said.

Authentic urban style

Using only the highest quality calf hides, through the process of chrome tanning and drum dyeing, the finished leather appears naturally grained and soft to the touch, yet it is robust and suited to casual shoes and bags.

The practical bag collection includes Taisten, a flat cross-body model; Triar, a messenger bag; and Tabelio, a reporter bag with secure zip closure, adjustable shoulder strap and clever interior pockets to house smartphones and documents.

When matched with the low-cut Freenew sneaker detailed with the signature black and white stripe, the overall look is designed to exude authentic urban style.

Bally’s special-edition Trainspotting Collection is available from November 2011 exclusively at the following DFS Gallerias: Hong Kong – Sunplaza Galleria, Chinachem Galleria; Macau – City of Dreams, Four Seasons Galleria; Singapore – Scottswalk Galleria; Indonesia – Bali Galleria; Saipan: Saipan Galleria; and Hawaii – Waikiki Galleria.
