SPAIN. Passenger numbers across the country’s airport network controlled by AENA Aeropuertos rose +6.7% year-on-year in July to 22,637,115.
All the top 15 airports, except Spain’s busiest airport Madrid Barajas (-0.4% to 4.9 million), posted traffic increases.
Barcelona El Prat rose by +21.3% to 3.6 million while other notable increases were recorded in Seville (+23.6%) and Santander (+20.1%).
