New President EMEA: Albert Baladi |
INTERNATIONAL. Beam Global Spirits & Wine has announced that Albert Baladi will join the company as President, Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), effective 5 March.
As President of EMEA, one of the company’s three global areas, Baladi will lead Beam Global’s growth strategy in the region, with all sales, marketing and functional areas reporting to him. Baladi will serve on Beam Global’s executive leadership team and will report directly to President & CEO Matt Shattock. Baladi will be based in Madrid.
“The EMEA region holds tremendous growth opportunities for Beam Global,” said Shattock. “This past year we outperformed key markets in the region, including the UK, Spain, Germany, Russia and travel retail, and we see further upside as we leverage our strong brands, enhanced routes to market and high-performing organisation that’s built to win.”
Welcoming Baladi to the team, Shattock added: “Given Albert’s proven track record of leading impactful international growth strategies, we are certain he is the right individual to lead our EMEA team. We look forward to benefiting from his seasoned leadership and are excited to welcome him as the newest member of the Beam Global family.”
Baladi has nearly 25 years’ experience in international business, operations, brand development and marketing for public consumer companies. Most recently he led Yum! Restaurants International’s US$1.5 billion retail sales business across Australia and New Zealand as Managing Director, South Pacific.
