CHINA. The offer of Beijing 2008 Olympic products has been extended at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA).
The products were first introduced to terminal two in August, but they are now also available in terminal one.
Products on sale include t-shirts, banners, caps and other gifts.
By including high-priced, mid-range and low-priced products, the selection caters to different consumer groups. There is also a limited-edition series, with the authenticity marked by a seal on each of these products.
The BCIA said that sales personnel in the Beijing 2008 store had undergone a special training programme set by the Olympics committee. “They will promote the Olympics spirit and will act as ‘ambassadors’ for Beijing 2008,” it commented.
A reliable source told The Moodie Report that the Beijing 2008 products will eventually be sold at all of China’s ports of entry, including airports, train stations and land border crossings.
