LEBANON. Beirut Duty Free has partnered with Vintage International to introduce Loch Lomond single malt Scotch Whisky at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. Vintage International is one of Loch Lomond Group’s key partners within the Middle East.
A highlight of this exciting launch is the introduction of Loch Lomond 7 Year Old Single Cask, which has been created exclusively for Beirut Duty-Free and tailored to the exacting taste profile of the retailer’s particular clientele
The launch is being celebrated with a high-profile activation featuring Loch Lomond Original, 12 Year Old and 14 Year Old.
The 7 Year Old Single Cask is an unpeated whisky made using Loch Lomond’s unique straight-neck pot stills.
Only 214 bottles were produced with an RSP of US$99 per bottle, marked with cask number 6,097, bottling year 2015 and a Beirut Duty Free-exclusive logo.
Beirut Duty Free Senior Buyer Rabih Wehbe said: “Loch Lomond – a brand that has been at the heart of the whisky industry for centuries with its unique distilling process dating back to 1772 – has landed in Beirut Duty Free.
“This activation immerses travellers into a single malt experience through tasting bar engagements, from experiencing a personalised single-cask bottling through to the core expressions from Loch Lomond Original to 12 Year Old and 14 Year Old.”

The independent Scottish distiller prides itself on a unique distilling process that allows it to create rare and highly distinctive flavours.
The featured single malt whiskies are crafted using the distillery’s straight neck stills and more traditional swan neck stills, before being aged in three types of American Oak casks – bourbon, refill and re-charred.
Loch Lomond Original (40% ABV) is described as a smooth, full-bodied and easy-drinking single malt scotch whisky. The matured liquid delivers a burst of sweet honey and citrus notes with a gentle hint of smoke on the finish.
Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Single Malt (46% ABV) offers notes of peach and pear layered with vanilla sweetness and a gentle hint of smoke on the finish.
The 14 Year Old Single Malt (46% ABV) is finished in French Limousin oak casks, giving it a distinct spiced character. It features notes of spice apples and vanilla fudge and a gentle hint of smoke on the finish.✈
