The new store offers a broad range of brands and consumer technology categories |
LEBANON. Beirut Duty Free has opened a new-look 225sq m electronics store at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. It expands the space dedicated to electronics (previously 170sq m). The store sits alongside an 85sq m Virgin megastore.
The refurbished shop carries laptops, tablets, mobile phones, photography, audio, healthcare products, gaming, wearable tech and a wide selection of electronic accessories. Many leading consumer electronics brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC, Canon and Nikon are represented.
The focal point of the new store is a striking promotional pillar situated at the shop entrance to showcase the latest products, said the retailer. There are also live listening stations for audio brands, interactive photography visuals and an Innergie charging station.
“Electronics has become a very important category for us in recent years and we’ve worked closely with all of our electronics suppliers to develop a really compelling tech proposition for our customers,” said Beirut Duty Free General Manager Ciaran O’Neill. “Electronics are generally quite a considered purchase and I’m pleased that our electronics offering now allows customers to browse in comfort, discuss their requirements with our product experts and choose from a great range of products.
“I’d like to pay tribute to my team for putting in another great effort to ensure that we opened the store on time.” he added.
