Beurer to present new health and wellbeing ranges in Singapore

German health and well-being company Beurer will be showcasing a number of its devices at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference (stand number: B2/K01).

Beurer’s devices are currently sold on 30 major airlines, including Asiana, Malaysia Airlines and China Eastern. Airports that carry Beurer devices include those in Brunei, Fiji and Doha, among others.

The company said it is planning on offering duty free exclusive items from its product portfolio with a strong focus on the Asian markets as well as maintaining its European and Americas presence. To meet airline requirements, Beurer said it is trimming down its packaging size to make products more portable for travellers.

At TFWA in Singapore, Beurer will be showcasing a range of health care devices, including the ME80 is a mobile 1-channel ECG monitor, which allows people with cardiac and circulatory disorders to monitor their ECG patterns. The device features a one-button operation and a variety of measurement methods that allow users to align the device to their personal cardiac configuration.

The PO80 and PO30 (left and centre) allow users to track their oxygen levels anytime, anywhere while the ME80 gives ECG pattern readouts with the touch of a button

The ME80 records a 30-second reading of cardiac rhythm and saves it in the integrated memory, which can hold up to 99 readings. The readings can be printed out for consultations with physicians. The device comes with software that allows all recorded measurements to be analysed by a physician.

There’s also the PO80 and the PO30, which enable users to monitor oxygen levels anytime, anywhere. These devices are useful for sufferers of bronchial asthma or other chronic obstructive lung diseases or cardiac insufficiency.

Both devices feature colour graphics to illustrate measurement results. The PO80 includes software that enables all measurements to be stored on a computer and displayed in long-term diagrams.

The PM250 and PM200+ heart rate monitors can integrate with the Runtastic PRO fitness app on smartphones

For amateur athletes, Beurer has developed the PM250 and PM200+ heart rate monitors. Both devices are centred around the Runtastic PRO fitness app, which keeps users informed of their speed, distance and route. The transmitter modules on the chest step send precise heart rate values to the smartphone.

Beurer will also showcase the KS800 Kitchen Scale, which includes a recipe app. The user selects the desired recipe on the app and sends the information to the scale via a Bluetooth connection. The scale shows the user the preparation steps and list of ingredients on the display as well as images for further clarification. There are 100 baking and cooking recipes stored in the app.
