Big brand neighbours: Lagardère Travel Retail opens Costa Coffee and Burger King at Vienna Airport

AUSTRIA. Lagardère Travel Retail Austria has unveiled outlets from two major international food & beverage brands in the Vienna Airport arrivals hall. A Costa Coffee café and Burger King restaurant, located side-by-side, opened for business today.

Vienna Airport is the first Costa Coffee location in Austria, with the brand now present in 41 countries. The café offers a broad selection of coffee, complemented by sweet and savoury snacks. 

Neighbouring Costa Coffee and Burger King have added to the line-up of big name international F&B brands at Vienna Airport 

Vienna Airport Joint CEO and COO Julian Jäger commented: “With Costa Coffee, a globally renowned brand is opening its first Austrian location with us. A new Burger King restaurant rounds off the international offering in the arrival hall. In collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail Austria, we offer travellers as well as meeters and greeters an even greater culinary offering at Vienna Airport.”

Lagardère Travel Retail Austria CEO Ursula Fürnhammer said: “We are delighted to be able to offer two new branches of top international brands in the arrivals hall with immediate effect. Passengers and meeters and greeters can expect aromatic coffee creations with a history from Costa Coffee and delicious, freshly grilled burgers from Burger King.”
