Booster Juice eyes expansion for its network of airport stores

CANADA. Canadian smoothie and juice chain Booster Juice is looking to expand its international network.

The brand operates more than 300 outlets in Canada and is also found in the USA and Mexico. It operates outlets in four Canadian airports: Toronto Pearson (two outlets), Edmonton (two), Halifax Stanfield and Vancouver.

Booster Juice Director of International and Non-Traditional Development Glenn Tucker said further airport stores are planned for 2016, with an opening in the United Arab Emirates included in the brand’s expansion programme.

Booster Juice was founded by President and CEO Dale Wishewan in Canada in 1997. Its menu includes classic, “˜hardcore’ and high-protein smoothies and fresh juices; paninis and wraps are also offered, along with ‘superfoods’ including wheatgrass, Japanese Matcha Green tea and the Açaí Brazilian berry.
