UK. Health and beauty chain Boots has opened a store in the Bristol Airport airside departure lounge.
The store is part of the ongoing improvements at the airport, including an extension to the terminal building and the construction of new car parks.
Bristol Airport said the significant investment will enhance the consumer shopping experience.
Boots showcases a selection of travel essentials, toiletries, health, skincare and cosmetics from its extensive portfolio of brands, including No. 7, Maybelline and Rimmel.
It also offers lunch on the go with Boots Meal Deal selection.
It features a Click and Collect service that simplifies the shopping experience for passengers travelling via Bristol Airport. Customers can order online at boots.com. They can then collect their purchases in-store before their flight.
Boots Travel Managing Director Floss Walton-Bateson said: “We are delighted to open our new Boots store at Bristol Airport, offering an amazing breadth and range of health & beauty products including sun preps, healthcare, toiletries and cosmetics, whilst not forgetting our ever popular Boots Meal Deal.
“We look forward to welcoming passengers in to our store and also offering our great order & collect proposition. This is an amazing addition to the travel retail portfolio and we are delighted to partner with the team at Bristol Airport to bring our brand to life.”
Bristol Airport CEO Dave Lees commented: “This is an exciting day for Bristol Airport and I am delighted to open the Boots store in the departure lounge, as we continue to improve customer facilities. The major investment in the enhancements of the Airport shows a very clear sign of the confidence our commercial partners have in Bristol Airport and vice versa.
“Our customers’ holidays start in our departure lounge, and it is very important for us to provide them with the best possible experience. We understand that our leisure and business customers have high expectations when travelling through Bristol Airport and we will continue to strive to meet their requirements.
“We are very confident that the investment and redevelopment in our departure lounge will provide a greater passenger experience as we offer new places to shop, eat, drink and relax before you fly.” ✈
