GERMANY. Fashion group Hugo Boss, in co-operation with Munich Airport’s retail subsidiary Eurotrade, have announced the reopening of its world’s biggest Boss travel retail store.
The store is located outside security control at Munich Airport Terminal 1. After a complete refurbishment, it reopened to the public on 25 April, 2007.
The retail space covers 300sq m on one floor and displays Boss Black and Boss Orange menswear, womenswear and accessories.
“2007 is a very exciting year for us,” said Hugo Boss Head of Travel Retail Nadine Heubel. “This refurbishment will increase our visibility at Munich Airport and strengthen our position as the leading fashion brand in travel retail. We have worked very closely with our partner Eurotrade and are delighted with the result.”
Eurotrade Managing Director Hellmut R. Gebhardt added: “The Boss brand has a high recognition with German and international travellers. The revamp has created a more welcoming store which will be easier to navigate and shop in. We are confident that it will increase penetration and deliver a great experience for our customers.”
