Bottega SpA is showcasing its new Bottega White Gold, a pure Pinot noir sparkling wine, at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas this week (stand number: 309).
The new launch adds to the company’s collection of sparkling wines, which include the successful Bottega Gold and Bottega Rose Gold.
Bottega White Gold (12%abv) is characterised by its silver glazed bottle containing a 100% Pinot noir white wine, described as fresh and flowery, with delicate hints of dried fruits.

The grapes originate from vineyards in the hills (100-300m above sea level) and are characterised by marine sedimentary soils with fine clays. The grapes are manually harvested in wooden cases. It follows the vinification in white with immediate separation of the must from the skins. The wine obtained goes through the sparkling process which takes place in autoclave at 14°C with selected yeasts specifically for Pinot noir.
The process has a duration of between 40 and 60 days and includes the daily pump-over of the product. The wine is then stabilised for a week at a temperature of -5° C and finally filtered and bottled.
Bottega White Gold is suitable as an aperitif, pairing “particularly well” with seafood, sushi, Mediterranean cuisine, and vegetables, the company said. It is best consumed within 12 and 24 months.
