The new Satin Hair Brush box is -30% smaller than the standard packaging |
GERMANY. Braun has announced Lufthansa as the first airline to launch its new Satin Hair Brush, which will be available onboard from July.
Since the Satin Hair Brush was launched in Europe late last year, Braun strived to create an airline-suitable packaging in order to make the product more attractive for inflight sales.
Measuring 70 x 65 x 235 mm = 1.069 mm3, the new slim box is -30% smaller than the standard packaging. It will be available from the end of May.
Braun’s Klaus Mellin said: “We are very glad that Lufthansa is our inflight sales launch partner for this exciting product. With other airlines we are in promising negotiations, and we are showing first samples of the new airline box for Satin Hair Brush at TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore (Stand number: E9).”
The new Satin Hair Brush with IONTEC claims to offer a solution – both technically and aesthetically – to flyaway hair, frizz and dullness that result from brushing, combing, styling and sitting on an airplane.
The brush delivers negatively charged ions straight onto the hair through a specially designed jet within the brush. These ions seek out any particularly rough, damaged areas and smooth them out, reducing friction and increasing shine and smoothness.
Another extra benefit of Braun Satin Hair Brush is the extra smooth surface and shape of its bristles, which were designed to separate the hair in as gentle a way as possible without any pulling.
