AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport has awarded ten food & beverage outlets to five partners after concluding its recent Request For Proposal (RFP) process for outlets at the International Terminal.
Airport Retail Group Australia will open three sites:
- Kuhl-cher Coffee will serve its award-winning, locally made blends at a new café on Level 2 Arrivals.
- Manna is a Mediterranean-inspired lobby bar on Level 3, Departures.
- Windmill & Co will return to Level 3, Departures, with a refreshed and elevated concept.
SSP will open three sites:
- Merlo Café, Brisbane’s coffee roastery will bring its signature brews to a café concept, opening on Level 4 Departures.
- Little Brisbane will offer a diverse mix of dining options on Level 4 Departures.
- KFC will open an in-line store on Level 3 Departures.
Lagardere AWPL will open two sites:
- Bellissimo, a leading Brisbane coffee brand will launch a new café concept on Level 3 Departures.
- LivEat, a health-focused grab-and-go kiosk on Level 3 Departures.
McDonald’s will open an in-line store on Level 3 Departures.
Emirates Leisure Retail Australia will open The Precinct, the largest F&B site at Brisbane Airport, spanning over 900sq m. It will feature a variety of dining options on Level 3 Departures.
Brisbane Airport Executive General Manager Commercial Group Scott Norris said, “We had a very enthusiastic market response to this proposal, which reflects the strong growth in sales we’re seeing across our terminals.
“With more than 25 million passengers passing through Brisbane Airport each year, and set to double in the next two decades, we’re confident the options chosen will deliver a vibrant mix of food & beverage offerings that meet the expectations of today’s travellers and showcase the best of Brisbane.
“We look forward to unveiling the designs and plans soon, and we’re confident they’ll set a new benchmark for airport hospitality.”
The first outlet is expected to open in December 2025, with all ten venues scheduled for completion by 2027.
This redevelopment is part of the broader A$5 billion Future BNE transformation of Brisbane Airport.
