British Airways names Vivian Tan-Loh as Commercial Manager, Malaysia

Vivian Tan-Loh will be responsible for BA’s commercial development in Malaysia

MALAYSIA. British Airways has announced the appointment of Vivian Tan-Loh as Commercial Manager, Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, she will oversee the airline’s commercial activities and development in the country.

Tan-Loh has worked at British Airways for over 30 years in various roles across customer service, reservations, training, sales and management. Before taking up her current role, she was General Manager of British Airways’ general sales agent office in Malaysia.

British Airways Regional General Manager, South East Asia Robert Williams said: “Vivian brings with her a wealth of experience in the airline industry and has a strong record in fostering relationships with customers and partners in Malaysia. We have great ambitions for Malaysia and I am confident that she will provide us with strong leadership and be an excellent ambassador for the airline.”

Tan-Loh added: “This is an exciting time for British Airways. Our local office is already set up and we are gearing up to the launch of flights [this month]. I’m delighted to be serving our customers in one of the most vibrant economies in the world and I look forward to working closely with our teams and valued partners in Malaysia.”

British Airways will start direct daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to London from 28 May 2015, claiming to be the only airline on the route to offer customers a choice of four cabins.
