Brockmans Gin is set to showcase its refreshed packaging design at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Green L60).
The gin range’s lightweight bottle, used for Original, Orange Kiss and Agave Cut variations, is described as the lightest among the most-popular brands in the super-premium gin segment.
Made with lighter glass which can be widely recycled, the new design is set to be unveiled in phases across all products and markets from September, including global travel retail.
This innovative packaging represents Brockmans’ commitment to reducing its carbon footprint while keeping the premium quality and distinctive character that defines the ‘Properly Improper’ gin brand.
Weighing only 500g, Brockmans’ new bottle is -30% lighter than that used by its direct competitors and contains 51% post-consumer recycled glass content (versus 0.6% previously).
Using lighter bottles helps the spirits industry minimise carbon emissions in both manufacture and transport, as glass production is considered one of the most energy-intensive global industries.

Through this new product innovation Brockmans aims to set new standards in the industry, reflecting its commitment to the environment and its B Corp certification received in late 2023.
Brockmans Gin Managing Director Jean-Dominique Andreu said: “Our new bottle represents a significant step in our journey towards sustainability. We are proud to lead the industry with this innovative, lightweight packaging and we are committed to continuing our efforts to create a more sustainable future.”
The Brockmans portfolio is exclusively represented in global travel retail by JP GTR, whose Founder JP Aucher added: “Brockmans Gin continues to build a solid footprint in global travel retail through partnerships with key travel retailers including Gebr. Heinemann, Aer Rianta International, London Supply and distributors such as DISC USA, PBG and Overseas Distribution Company.
“Creating a point of difference is hugely important and, balanced with the traveller’s increasing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly products. I’m confident that this new lighter bottle will be highly welcomed by both retailers and consumers, creating opportunities to open new doors.”
The design of the bottle has brought to life by leading glass manufacturer Verallia.
As the launch date approaches, Brockmans will continue to enhance the bottle’s specifications to ensure it fulfills the highest quality and sustainability criteria, the company said. ✈
