BELGIUM. To mark its 100th anniversary this year, Belgian chocolate manufacturer Bruyerre will be showcasing new products based on its former best-selling recipes at the TFWA World Exhibition next month (Stand number: Green Village K59).
The products have been specially designed for the duty free market and for all customers, including children.
Bruyerre is represented in travel retail by Francis Selection, the well-established agency company based in Switzerland.
Truck “100th anniversary”: The founder of Bruyerre, François Léon, used to deliver chocolates in an old truck which quickly became the symbol of the company. For children and collectors alike, Bruyerre has developed a new truck-shaped tin box filled with a selection of its best-sellers and new chocolate creations, including the new Centenaire chocolate – a dark chocolate basket filled with a passion fruit jelly and covered with a handmade crunchy gianduja.
Passion Collection “Bouchée des Antilles”: Bouchée des Antilles was an old recipe that has been re-launched this year for food connoisseurs. It is a new bouchée filled with a creamy chocolate ganache made of a delicate balance of rum and Arabica coffee. This new bouchée is offered in new Passion Collection packaging.

Passion Collection “No sugar added”: The Passion Collection will also be extended with a new “No sugar added” selection. Two new chocolates Equinoxe & Celeste have been created and are filled with a no sugar added praline. These chocolates will be available in a mix of milk and dark no sugar added chocolates in Passion Collection packaging.
Le Délicieux: Bruyerre is one of the last chocolate companies in Belgium producing its praliné itself by an old process, which is said to give a unique taste to its chocolates. The firm has therefore made a special tablet containing this praliné and hazelnuts. Special packaging has been designed to attract the customer to eat it as a snack or to offer it as a gift. This new tablet was one of the company’s former best-sellers.
The money box: For Christmas, Bruyerre is offering a new money box with a selection of chocolates in a ballotin. The product is aimed at both children and collectors.
