CROATIA. TAV Airports subsidiary BTA Food & Services has staged a grand opening event this week for its new Relay stores at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport. The travel essentials shops are a partnership with concept owner Lagardère Travel Retail.
The stores are located in the Croatian airport’s landside arrivals area (28sq m), landside departures area (79sq m) and the airside departures area (10sq m).

BTA, well-known for its 200-plus estate of food & beverage venues in 15 airports across eight countries, described the store openings as a milestone in expanding its business to travel retail.
Between them, the stores offer 750 products including snacks and sweets, beverages, consumer electronics, tobacco, travel accessories, books and magazines, souvenirs, hygiene products and toys.
BTA Food & Services CEO Baha Bülbül said: “We are incredibly excited to expand our presence to Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport. This new location allows us to serve a broader audience and provide travellers with high-quality products and services that meet their needs on the go.
“We look forward to becoming a part of the vibrant community at the airport and offering a unique shopping destination, ensuring that travellers have ample opportunity to shop before their flights or during layovers.
“Travellers can expect the same high standards of quality and service that BTA Food & Services is known for, with knowledgeable staff on hand to assist with any enquiries or needs.”
