Budapest Airport and partners enhance Pier 1 commercial offer

HUNGARY. Budapest Airport has opened three new outlets with key partners that round out the commercial offer at the recently completed 11,500sq m Pier 1 facility. Heinemann Duty Free, Relay (Lapker Zrt) and Café Frei have unveiled units in the pier, which is dedicated to Schengen traffic. The overall zone features extensive space and a wooden façade, and is one element of the airport’s ambitious development and expansion project.

Heinemann now runs six stores at the airport, where it has been present for over a decade. As well as core categories, the store offers a regionals concept with ‘Made in Hungary’ assortments and local hero brands.
