Burberry make-up portfolio blooms with English Rose collection

Burberry has officially unveiled its Spring/Summer 2014 make-up look, called English Rose, which goes on-counter this month. It was previewed at the Burberry Prorsum womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 show, and features in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 global media campaign.

English lace, super-light knits and sparkling gemstones from this season’s runway were among the inspiration for the “feminine, glowing” look, said to reference the season’s light textures, dusty colours and petal details.

Luminescent shades of rose pink and sage green reflect the runway palette, presented in a spectrum of textures. Key features include natural skin tones, nude lips and rose shades for the eyes. Lashes are left bare; naturally groomed brows complete the look.

The product line-up includes new eye palettes in powdery soft pastels, crystalline lip glosses, and nail polishes inspired by Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2014 ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

The line was created by Burberry Make-Up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe, under the creative direction of Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey.
