Travel pillows and accessories company Cabeau has secured an endorsement from renowned sports orthopedic surgeon Dr Neil Ghodadra, MD.
Ghodadra has served as a surgeon for professional athletes and celebrities, with NBA basketball team Chicago Bulls and MLB baseball side Chicago White Sox among his past clients. He has also regularly appeared on national television in the US, including on NFL Fantasy Live and syndicated talk show The Doctors.

Cabeau will roll out a new in-store, promotional and educational campaign across travel retail in late spring and early summer 2020 to mark the endorsement. New informational POS displays aim to educate consumers about science-based sleep concerns, and will feature Ghodadra’s seal of approval and professional recommendation of the Cabeau line as the best pillows available to global travellers.
“I am delighted to partner with Cabeau and give my personal seal of approval,” Ghodadra said. “Cabeau’s superior line of travel pillow ensures correct spine and neck alignment, supporting oxygen delivery as you sleep.
“The average person turns every 15 minutes while sleeping. Head and neck misalignment can cause pain and discomfort. This is especially a problem for on-the-go sleep as travellers try to sleep seated upright with little support.”
Cabeau Global Travel Retail Sales Director Lital Guedalia commented: “To have such a world-renowned spinal alignment expert excited about Cabeau is a testament to how Cabeau’s pillows are second to none. Shoppers will be able to learn just how important well-supported sleep is to overall health and wellbeing. It’s precisely this sleep science that makes Cabeau’s pillows the best and most comfortable choice – as endorsed by one of the world’s leading health experts.”
Ghodadra trained at Duke Medical School in North Carolina and completed his residency at Chicago’s Rush Medical Center. He then undertook a Sports Medicine Fellowship under the tutelage of leading sports medicine surgeons. The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons has awarded him for his work on athlete shoulder instability and he has presented at more than 70 conferences worldwide.
