‘Capturing Beauty’ – Coccinelle rolls out Fall/Winter 2024 campaign

International top model and one of the most popular runway ‘Angels’, Behati Prinsloo stars in the latest Coccinelle campaign 

Italian leathergoods company Coccinelle has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, Capturing Beauty.

Shot in Milan at Studio 54, the latest campaign features Behati Prinsloo, the 36-year-old Namibia-born international model.

It was led by Coccinelle’s artistic directors Giampaolo Sgura and Anna dello Russo – their sixth creative collaboration with the brand.

“Real, truly herself, always and in any circumstance,” Prinsloo’s authenticity inspired the creative direction of Sgura’s photography and Dello Russo’s styling.

The creative campaign focuses on the American cut shots, in vivid colours, to showcase the immediacy and freshness of the photos.

Sgura and Dello Russo have developed a compelling narrative for the social media and web campaigns. Using a cinematic approach that blends black-and-white with natural colour, they produced a ‘behind the scenes’ effect.

The campaign shots encapsulate the “playful, effortless and spontaneous” interactions between Prinsloo, the Coccinelle bags and tassel loafers with bicolour layered soles – a distinctive aspect of the Punk Academia trend.

One of the campaign shots shows Prinsloo’s all-black looks and tattoos peeking out from the rolled-up sleeve of her denim shirt, described as the “perfect canvas” to highlight the three bags. These bags capture the essence of the Punk Academia theme – the central element of the Coccinelle collection.

The collection includes a new messenger bag named Campus, also available in a mini size; Dew, described as curvy, sophisticated, and versatile; and Beat, featuring its signature plectrum clasp, now in a mini version.

Coccinelle’s core values of nonconformity, simplicity and self-expression were reflected in the materials and colours of the featured bags. These bags were made using soft, aged vintage leather; smooth, extra-shiny calfskin; striking contrasts of black, metal, and leather; and the contemporary femininity of college blue and California pink. ✈
