GERMANY. casualfood has unveiled new concept Superfood by Natural at Frankfurt Airport. The pop-up store is aimed at the growing number of travellers who opt for a healthy diet.
With the 35sq m store, casualfood aims to provide healthy fast food to take away. The new outlet is in the airside area of Terminal A.
“We are noticing ever-increasing demand for healthy snacks and meals at our restaurants and stores, which is why we are focusing on popular superfoods with this new pop-up outlet.Sustainability and regionality are always strong points of focus for casualfood,” said casualfood Managing Partners Stefan Weber and Michael Weigel.

The Superfood store offers a varied range of healthy, on-the-go snacks. Customers can choose from a menu featuring innovative sandwiches including healthy ingredients such as hummus, avocado and pomegranate, and wraps containing dates, bacon and sweet potato.
Popular Asian takeaway items such as sushi and summer rolls are also available, along with on-trend Buddha and poke bowls with ingredients such as quinoa, feta cheese and red cabbage or artichoke, edamame beans and hummus. Snack packs of pomegranate seeds and coconut chunks, freshly made smoothies and milkshakes round off the menu.
