Maison Fleur de Miraval, part of French wine specialist company Famille Perrin, sponsored the 96th Academy Awards Oscars Governors Ball with its Champagne Fleur de Miraval Exclusivement Rosé 3.

The Champagne was served alongside a special menu crafted by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.

With only limited quantities produced, a dedicated number of Champagne Fleur de Miraval Exclusivement Rosé 3 is available in selected Gebr. Heinemann duty-free stores and onboard Lufthansa’s Business Class cabins.

Before the Oscars, Fleur de Miraval Assistant Chef de Cave Alexis Blondel showcased the Champagne on American talk show Access Hollywood with hosts Kit Hoover and Mario Lopez. Blondel also shared his tips and tricks on how best to enjoy the rosé Champagne.

The idea of Fleur de Miraval sprang from the partnership of Brad Pitt and the Perrin Family, who had already united the wine world with that of the arts through the introduction of Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé, and a third family with roots in Champagne for six generations: the Péters family.

The Péters family, established in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, have been making Champagne from their own grapes since 1919. Today Rodolphe Péters runs the 50 acre state, 40 of which are Grand Cru vineyards mainly around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs. ✈
