Changi Airport celebrates ‘The Gift of Disney Cruise Line at Jewel’ with festive entertainment experiences

Jewel Changi Airport transforms its Canopy Park into a Disney wonderland, immersing guests in a festive holiday experience

SINGAPORE. Leisure, retail and dining complex Jewel Changi Airport has unveiled the festive year-end holiday campaign ‘The Gift of Disney Cruise Line at Jewel’, featuring a series of immersive themed installations at Canopy Park (located at Jewel’s topmost floor).

Running from November to January, the event celebrates the cruise line’s homeporting in Singapore, starting in 2025.

The campaign showcases the first-ever Disney Cruise Line-inspired spectacle, featuring seven themed areas centred around the Disney Adventure.

Famous Pixar animated characters such as those from Toy Story add fun to the festive celebration

The curated themed installations feature Disney Imagination Garden, San Fransokyo Street and the Disney cruise ship’s famed red funnel.

Jewel invites visitors to take photos with installations showcasing popular Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters, including princesses Ariel and Moana, Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, and superheroes such as Iron Man and Ant-Man, providing a fun experience for all ages.

Other attractions include the Hedge Maze, inspired by Disney Imagination Garden and featuring detailed Mickey Mouse-shaped topiaries and a life-sized Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey statue.

The Foggy Bowls features a 2.6-metre installation of Baymax, the popular healthcare robot from Disney’s Big Hero 6, set within a futuristic cityscape inspired by San Fransokyo Street, blending Eastern and Western architectural elements.

Petal Garden presents a life-sized four-metre replica of the Disney Cruise Line’s popular funnel, transporting guests to the top deck of the Disney Adventure. The installation provides photo opportunities and invites visitors to interact with three motion-activated portholes that react to waves, showcasing surprise appearances from characters such as Captains Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Timeless Disney characters Mickey and Minnie are among the main attractions in the Petal Garden

The experience includes an opportunity to win a four-day, three-night vacation aboard the Disney Adventure. To enter the competition, guests will have to find seven thematic medallion stamps representing the themed areas of the Disney Adventure around Canopy Park and submit their reason for wanting to win this dream at-sea vacation. Terms and conditions apply.

In addition, visitors dressed as any Disney, Pixar or Marvel characters on 16-17 November will receive free admission to Canopy Park. All guests will also get a complimentary Captain Mickey Mouse-inspired head visor during their visit.

Visitors also have the opportunity to meet and greet some special Disney characters.

Jewel has teamed up with Disney Cruise Line to offer limited-edition collectibles available for purchase with every S$60 (US$45) spent in a single transaction. Exclusive items include a puffy sling bag (available in two colours), a duffel bag, a travel organiser (offered in two colours) and cabin-sized luggage, with prices ranging from S$18 (US$14) to S$52 (US$40).
