China Duty Free Group hails German Design Award 2024 win for Secret Place advertising project

The world’s leading travel retailer was honoured for the compelling and engaging visual identity of its Secret Place brand campaign

CHINA. China Duty Free Group (CDFG) is celebrating its win at the German Design Award 2024 held in Frankfurt, Germany on 26 January.

The world’s leading travel retailer won the Excellent Communications Design and Integrated Campaigns and Advertising categories for its project, Secret Place.

The winning advertising images feature combined elements of luxury shopping, nature and Chinese culture

Founded in 1953 and organised by the German Design Council, the awards recognise top-quality products, projects and designers who are pioneers in German and international design. It is considered the highest award in the global design industry.

 

CDFG’s brand image campaign and advertising combines Art Nouveau style, mysterious ancient civilisation and natural ecology.

Secret Place has appeared numerous times at the TFWA Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition in Singapore and China International Consumer Products Expo in Haikou, as well as with The Moodie Davitt Report. It has also featured at other popular local and foreign exhibitions and media, enhancing CDFG’s image and brand value.
