Choc Stop shines the spotlight on Danson in latest promotion

MALAYSIA. Choc Stop International has unveiled its latest chocolate promotion at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), featuring Malaysia’s homegrown brand Danson.

Taking place at KLIA’s Satellite Building, the promotion highlights Danson’s Fruit Sensation, 3-Layer Chocolate, Tutti Fruitti and Enchanting Malaysia chocolates.

The campaign also saw the launch of Millton, a Belgian chocolate recipe created by Quantum Supplies, a local chocolate manufacturer which also produces Danson chocolates. Quantum is owned by DR Group Holdings, which also owns Chocolate Sales & Supplies, said to be the largest importer and distributor of chocolates in Malaysia and is also the operator of Choc Stop International.

The promotion has generated “tremendous sales” for the travel retailer, said Chocolate Sales & Supplies Group Marketing Manager Shereen Lau, with sales of Danson soaring to “record heights” this season.

Lau attributed the company’s success to its “inviting, classy stores and creative, exclusive promotions”. Choc Stop believes in investing in high quality displays and promotions to attract chocolate lovers, enhanced with great service by multilingual brand promoters, she added.
