The mouth-watering Delicious Self Tanning Cream |
FRANCE. Clarins has created a new flagship lipstick range, called Joli Rouge. It will be available in European travel retail in March, before rolling out to the US in May, and the Middle East in August.
The soft, creamy formula is said to offer stay-true, moisturising colour which helps to hydrate, restructure and redefine lips. It contains a Maxi Lip Complex that replenishes, repairs and protects, so that the more often the lipstick is used, the smoother, fuller and more defined lips become, according to Clarins.
The company claims to have incorporated unique colour techniques for each individual shade in the range, so that the choice and concentration of the colour pigments used for each shade have been specifically adapted to ensure exceptional hold.
Also included in the formula is mango butter, to encourage the even dispersal of pigments and maximum shine.
Joli Rouge is presented in a silver cylinder-style case, finished with a transparent red base. The Clarins name is embossed onto the lipstick within.
Joli Rouge is available in 14 shades. The emblem shade is an audacious red called Cupid (shade 704).
New within skincare from Clarins is Super Restorative Tinted Cream, which will be available in European travel retail from March, before rolling out to Australia in July.
The treatment is said to brighten skin tone with a subtle golden glow; enhance complexion radiance; and visibly reduce lines and shadows to soften facial features. It also contains an SPF20.
As with the rest of Clarins’ Super Restorative range, the main target market is women aged over 50.
A key ingredient is Mahakanni extract, found in India, which provides excellent free radical protection. This is complemented by illuminating, unifying and anti-shadow pigments, to revive facial energy and light.
Super Restorative Tinted Cream is available in five shades, and can be applied directly to bare skin, or after Clarins’ Super Restorative Serum.
It is presented in a 40ml red, airless pump dispenser tube.
Lastly, Clarins has created a Delicious Self Tanning Cream. In travel retail, it will be available in Europe from February; in the US from March; in Asia and the Middle East from April; and in Australia from September.
Described as a self-tanner that indulges the skin and the senses, the formula features a mouth-watering caramel colour and two beauty-enhancing extracts of cocoa.
The colour is said to guide application for a flawless result, while the micro-pearls deliver an instant sparkle to skin before a natural, sun-kissed glow develops.
Delicious Self-Tanning Cream is presented in a 125ml jar, complete with application spatula.
