Shiseido Travel Retail will showcase a number of new fragrance launches from its growing portfolio of brands at the TFWA World Exhibition (Riviera Village stand RJ5).
Shiseido Travel Retail Vice-President Marketing Elisabeth Jouguelet said: “The arrival of Dolce&Gabbana has revitalised our increasingly diverse portfolio and established fragrances as a key growth driver for Shiseido Travel Retail as we work towards our VISION 2020 goals. Our line-up is stronger and more varied than ever before, ranging from the Mediterranean- inspired flavours of Dolce&Gabbana to the contemporary femininity of Elie Saab, to the artisanal quality of Serge Lutens.”
“Our strength is in creating successful fragrances from scratch – scents that perfectly encapsulate the vision of the fashion designer and bringing the individual brand DNA to life,” Jouguelet continued. “We have developed several emblematic fragrances that have become classic best-sellers, such as Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey, Elie Saab Le Parfum and Narciso Rodriguez For Her, and we aim to continue creating icons that will stand the test of time with the help of our Fragrance Center of Excellence.”

Dolce&Gabbana has launched The One Eau de Toilette (EDT), a new and lighter interpretation of its The One Eau de Parfum (EDP) for women that was created by Christine Nagel in 2006. Perfumer Girard Michel has given The One EDT an added twist of freshness that magnifies the key note of madonna lily. It is fronted by British actress Emilia Clarke, who joins the Dolce&Gabbana family as the new ambassador of The One.
Top notes include madonna lily, Italian bergamot, mandarin essences, lychee and white peach, while a bespoke essence of ylang moheli, distilled to reveal its lily facets, is enhanced by orange blossom and honeyed broom absolutes at the heart. The base features a dry down of vanilla, vetiver and musk.
The new EDT bottle is taller than the original and features a geometric gold cap and sleek black logo.

The One for Men, created by perfumer Olivier Polge, will also be shown in Cannes. The One for Men EDT features an accord of oriental wood and tobacco, supported by a blend of coriander, basil, cardamom and ginger.
British actor Kit Harington is the scent’s new ambassador.
The One for Men range, available now in travel retail, also includes The One for Men EDP and The One Royal Night by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, which explores the multifaceted world of spices and oriental amber.
Issey Miyake will present its new masculine scent L’Eau d’Issey Majeure. The aquatic woody fragrance blends citrus notes of bergamot and grapefruit with a salty accord and a woody complex. It is housed in a deep blue bottle with a brushed metal cap designed by Todd Bracher.
Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Majeure is available in 50ml and 100ml in Travel Retail Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas from September.

New from Elie Saab is Girl of Now, created by perfumers Sophie Labbé and Dominique Ropion. It features Elie Saab’s olfactory signature of orange blossom-patchouli accord, adorned with notes such as pear and mandarin, while fresh-roasted pistachio reinforces the aroma of bitter almond. At the heart the gourmand facets of Ormond Flower are unveiled by an exclusive co-distillate of orange blossom absolute and bitter almond essence, boosted by a floral bouquet of white jasmine and magnolia blossoms. A blend of cashmeran, tonka bean and almond milk form the fragrance’s base, prolonged by patchouli.
Models Ulrikke Hoyer, Lineisy Montero and Gabby Westbrook front the fragrance’s print and video campaigns.
Elie Saab Girl of Now is available now in 50ml and 90ml in travel retail EMEA and travel retail Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Fleur Musc is the latest addition to Narciso Rodriguez’s ‘For Her’ fragrance collection, inspired by modern, independent women who possess grace and beauty.

Created by Givaudan’s Sonia Constant and Calice Becker, the fragrance is a floral bouquet with top notes of pink peppercorn wrapped around a heart of musk, with a woody base of patchouli and amber notes. The rose scent is housed in a vivid pink bottle.
Narciso Rodriguez For Her Fleur Musc, in 50ml and 100ml EDP, is available now in travel retail Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas.
Zadig & Voltaire’s This is Him! and This is Her! scents, which launched last year, are now available in new designs for the Capsule Collection FW17/18 by New York tattoo artist Virginia Elwood.
The rock-inspired bottles and packs retain their black and white contrast but are updated with Elwood’s artistic expressions to mark the brand’s 20th anniversary.
The This is Her! capsule edition design features a mix of flowers, a boat and mermaids, while This is Him! forms the backdrop of a starry night playing off the contrasts between a rose and a skull.
Both editions will be available in travel retail EMEA from February 2018.
French photographer, artist and hairstylist Serge Lutens, who collaborated with Shiseido on an image development project in 1980, has created a new fragrance called Dent de Lait. The fragrance is meant to evoke memories of milk teeth and features notes of milk, incense, heliotrope, and almond, which come together as a reminder of childhood alienation and lost youth.
The following Serge Lutens best-sellers will also be showcased at TFWA Cannes: Féminité du bois (100ml), Ambre Sultan (100ml), La Fille de Berlin (100ml), Fleurs d’oranger (100ml) and Un Bois vanille (100ml).
