Wellbeing house Rituals Cosmetics has achieved B Corp Certification, marking a new chapter in its purpose-driven business model.
As a B Corp-certified brand, Rituals joins over 4,000 established companies in 153 industries across 77 countries in working towards a more sustainable, inclusive and regenerative future.
Commenting on the sustainable milestone, Rituals Cosmetics Owner & Founder Raymond Cloosterman said: “I’m beyond proud to have earned the B Corp Certification as a brand that truly fosters a sustainable future. At Rituals we strive to keep doing more and going further for people and planet, so we are truly honoured to join a global movement of responsible organisations that want to accelerate progress on the shared challenges we face.”
Rituals Cosmetics Global Travel Retail Director Melvin Broekaart added, “Achieving B Corp status, the gold standard of environmental and social certification, proves that we at Rituals are serious about our responsibilities as a global wellbeing brand.
“Travelling consumers are actively seeking brands with proven sustainability credentials and we are hugely proud to join a select few B Corp certified brands in travel retail that are committed to driving a sustainable future for our industry.”
By achieving B Corp Certification, Rituals said it is reinforcing its position as a force for good in the beauty industry. Its renewed sustainable mission is focused on three key pillars: ‘Clean, Conscious & Caring’.
Clean represents Rituals’ focus on producing natural-origin ingredients with a minimal carbon footprint. Conscious is about making conscious, sustainable packaging and logistical decisions, while caring supports development programmes for communities in need.

Rituals Cosmetics Director of Innovation & Sustainability Niki Schilling added, “Being certified as a B Corp officially recognises our commitment and efforts towards sustainable wellbeing. This mission is foremost on our minds, it’s a continuous journey that never ends, the clean, conscious & caring pillars form a robust foundation for that.”
To achieve B Corp Certification, Rituals has achieved the following actions under each pillar
