Clinique has unveiled a curated selection of body and face oils. All About Oils is on-counter now at Clinique global travel retail locations.

The range, which claims to debunk oil myths and make women’s lives easier, comprises the following four products:

Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm is a silky, solid oil balm that is said to melt into skin to restore comfort and radiance. Featuring a triple blend of apricot oil, sunflower seed oil and macadamia oil, the non-greasy formula claims to nourish and relieve dry spots. Clinique recommends using it as an all-over face treatment or as a 10-minute or leave-on overnight mask.

Deep Comfort Body Oil combines jojoba seed oil and chia seed oil, said to soothe dry skin, help restore radiance and deliver a healthy glow. The lightweight oil can also be used to condition the end of hair.

Clinique Smart Treatment Oil is infused with anti-ageing ingredients that claim to deeply condition dry, damaged skin. According to Clinique, potent anti-oxidants work over time to help shield against harmful free radical damage.

Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil, said to be suitable for all skin types, features salicylic acid which claims to revitalise skin while restoring luminosity and smoothness. With continued use, the skin’s barrier is strengthened with a blend of botanical lipids, Clinique said.

Dispelling the myths that oils leave skin looking greasy and do not contain anti-ageing benefits, Executive Director of Skin Physiology and Pharmacology Clinique Research & Development, Worldwide Dr Tom Mammone said: “Numerous oils are lightweight, fast absorbing, and will not leave skin looking or feeling greasy. Moreover, certain facial oils do contain ingredients that help combat environmental aggressors, which lead to skin damage.”
