SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has launched a large-scale promotional campaign across its downtown retail and online stores to drive consumer spending during the peak travel season.
Running from 18 July to 17 August, the Super Sale offers extensive discounts at Lotte Duty Free’s key locations in Seoul, including its Myeong-dong flagship and World Tower stores, as well as branches in Busan and Jeju.

The campaign offers savings of up to -80% on select items from brands such as Longchamp, Coach and Swarovski.
Complimentary gifts are available with qualifying purchases of Korean cosmetics and selected food brands.
Discounts of up to -70% are also available on Lotte Duty Free’s online platform, covering 30 brands such as Lancôme, Jill Stuart, Penhaligon’s, Maison Kitsuné, Ami and Blackmores.
The campaign also includes a Weekend Time Sale, offering up to -60% off selected brands every Friday through Sunday during the promotional period.
Online shopping benefits feature discounts of up to KRW20,000 (US$14) for KakaoPay users, plus exclusive coupons for university and grad students ahead of the summer holidays.
Until 31 August, customers shopping for fashion, watches and jewellery at Lotte Duty Free’s Myeong-dong flagship, World Tower, Busan and Jeju stores will receive up to KRW1.51 million (US$1,084) in LDF PAY for qualifying purchases.
For weekend purchases (Friday-Sunday), the retailer is offering up to KRW1.69 million (US$1,214) in LDF PAY by doubling rewards based on payment method.
Shoppers who spend more than US$150 on cosmetics, perfume, eyewear, food or liquor by 31 July will qualify for a KRW20,000 (US$14) LDF PAY bonus that can be used on the same day.
Lotte Duty Free is also offering up to KRW40,000 (US$29) in Pre-LDF PAY to customers who spend more than US$100 at its Myeong-dong, World Tower or Busan stores, starting from 90 days before departure. Shoppers must visit the customer service desk in advance to receive the reward.
In addition to discounts, the retailer is running travel promotions across its online and physical stores.
Shoppers who spend more than US$300 at downtown stores by 31 August can enter a lucky draw to become one of three winners of round-trip tickets for two to Tokyo, along with discount coupons for Lotte Duty Free’s Ginza store.
The company has also collaborated with KakaoPay to roll out the Kakao Overseas Travel All-Pass prize event. Customers who spend over KRW50,000 (US$36) are eligible to enter for a chance to win a two-night stay at The Middle House Studio 60 in Shanghai. Three additional winners will receive a two-night stay in a one-bedroom residence at 137 Pillars Bangkok.

To enhance the shopping experience, Lotte Duty Free has expanded its watches & jewellery portfolio with more trend-forward brands.
Since becoming Boucheron’s first and exclusive duty-free retailer in Korea in 2018, Lotte Duty Free has opened dedicated brand spaces at its Myeong-dong flagship and Jeju stores, which continue to attract strong interest from Korean and international customers.
The Boucheron store at Myeong-dong was renovated in May, while Italian luxury jewellery brand Damiani made its debut at Lotte Duty Free’s Busan store on 1 July – its first duty-free location outside the capital.
Lotte Duty Free is also seeing strong sales from other exclusive brands, including Chaumet, Fred and Messika.
The retailer highlighted its commitment to expanding its global luxury brand offering to deliver a more elevated and differentiated shopping experience. ✈
