UK. Welsh gold jewellery specialist Clogau Gold has reported an unusually busy Spring following the royal wedding on 29 April.
Miss Catherine Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, chose to uphold an 88-year tradition of using a pure Welsh gold wedding ring when she wed HRH Prince William last week.
And the royal harpist to HRH Prince of Wales, Claire Jones, wore an exclusive white gold edition of Clogau Gold’s Royal Roses collection at the wedding reception.
An estimated 2 billion people worldwide watched Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, placing a simple band of pure Welsh gold onto his bride’s finger.
