GUINEA. Conakry Airport in Guinea, West Africa, has called for Expressions of Interest in assisting with a renovation of its terminal building, via The Moodie Report, where it plans to expand space.
This is the second phase of an expansion project that began three years ago. The first included an upgrade of duty free and food & beverage areas.
The board of directors of airport authority SOGEAC announced the move this week, with opportunities for contractors to manage architectural work, electricity and air conditioning, and sound and fire upgrades. These activities will be tendered in a series of four lots.
After the Expressions of Interest are gathered, the full tender will be issued in April, with work scheduled to begin in July.
SOGEAC said it wanted to short-list four or five companies with experience in the above-named areas of work and in terminal operations.
Expressions of Interest are due by 20 March at this address:
Monsieur le Directeur Général de la SOGEAC
Aéroport de CONAKRY Gbessia
