SWITZERLAND. Following this month’s announcement that Kraft Foods International is to transfer its global export and sales division into the regions, World Travel Retail Division general manager Andreas Fehr has consolidated all European export activities under a yet to be established West Central Europe/Western Europe (WCE/WE) export business unit in Zurich, Switzerland.
The new Export Group will be led by Jaya P Singh, Director Export WCE/WE, as of January 2004, reporting to Fehr. “Jaya has played a key role in the development of our travel retail business both in Asia and more recently here in Europe,” said Fehr.
In World Travel Retail, to ensure an efficient and smooth transition, Jaya will be succeeded by the well-regarded Patrick Dorais as area manager Continental Europe, UK & Ireland.
Fehr commented: “Patrick, who will join WTRD in February, is no stranger to the industry, joining us from Nestlé ITR, where he has spent years of progressive and successful experiences in various key sales and marketing functions, covering many facets of the value chain in the fast moving consumer goods industry.”
Reporting to Dorais will be: Bob Porterfield – Area Manager UK & Ireland; Michael Skoczylas – Regional Sales Manager, Central, Eastern & South East Europe; and Elise Perl – Regional Sales Manager – France, Iberia & Benelux.
All other WTRD regions and responsibilities remain unchanged.
