Ever Rich Duty Free has partnered with 15 Taiwanese brands to launch the Connecting the World Beyond Borders local revitalisation exhibition and sustainability forum at its Taipei Neihu Flagship Store. It began yesterday (13 November).
The initiative underscores the retailer’s long-term commitment to cultural preservation, community engagement and responsible business practices.
This year marks Ever Rich Duty Free’s 30th anniversary, with the milestone celebrated through renewed investment in sustainability-driven programmes. To honour the occasion, The Moodie Davitt Report has proudly published an anniversary book (in print and digital format), accompanied by a recently launched video (with Chinese and English subtitles).
Curated as an immersive, five-sense experience, the Connecting the World Beyond Borders exhibition brings together brands spanning fashion, beauty, food and confectionery. It invites local and international stakeholders to explore new expressions of Taiwan’s creative identity.
The initiative reflects concrete action toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

Ever Rich is running 13 local revitalisation initiatives enabling frontline retail staff to visit partner brand communities, production sites and fields. These on-the-ground experiences deepen employees’ brand knowledge, which translates to deeper service quality and cultural connection in airport interactions.
The Connecting the World Beyond Borders exhibition features 15 Taiwanese brands, including Story Wear, SPRINGDAY, YUAN, Owen Ceramics, Jean Cultural & Creative Co., Chef Clean, Ta-Ho Rice, Cha Tzu Tang, Gimgoanheng, Byjolab, Jiu Zhen Nan, Pineapple Town, Blueseeds, Yoshantea and Hsieh Chiang Lin Tea House.
During the sustainability forum, representatives from Ever Rich, Diageo, Cha Tzu Tang and YUAN shared their perspectives on embedding sustainability into brand culture, product development and community partnerships.

Ever Rich Duty Free President Kevin Chiang commented: “A company should act as a bridge connecting the land with the world. Travellers today seek to feel local spirit when they travel.”
Chiang reiterated that airports are the cultural gateway of a nation. He underlined Ever Rich Duty Free’s commitment to transforming public spaces into platforms for cultural and sustainable engagement, empowering frontline staff as ambassadors for Taiwan.
Taoyuan International Airport Corporation Chairman Wei-Fuu Yang added, “Ever Rich has long demonstrated its commitment to sustainability across various fronts, making the airport a dynamic stage for showcasing Taiwan’s culture.

“We are truly moved to see these brands, rich in craftsmanship and local stories, presented at the gateway to our nation. Taoyuan Airport will continue working with all partners to strengthen its global competitiveness.”
Ever Rich has announced plans to extend the exhibition to the airport, reiterating its commitment to using airport spaces as meaningful platforms for cultural and sustainable advocacy. ✈
