DENMARK. In April, the total number of passengers at Copenhagen Airport increased by +11.8% compared with the same month in 2003. The airports company noted that in April 2003 the traffic was negatively affected by the war in Iraq and SARS.
The number of international scheduled passengers increased by +13.7% whereas the number of international charter passengers increased by +0.2%. Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by +13.0%.
The total number of domestic passengers has been unchanged compared to April 2003.
In April 2004, the total number of take-offs and landings increased by +4.8%, whereas the tonnage showed an increase of +6.7% compared with the same period last year.
