FRANCE. Lancaster has unveiled a new anti-ageing treatment, called 365 Cellular Elixir, which the company hopes will spearhead its renaissance in the skincare category. The product is claimed to protect and support the skin’s natural DNA repair process – a first for a cosmetics formula, according to the group. It is targeted at women aged 25 years and up.
365 Cellular Elixir is a serum that can be used in conjunction with other skincare products. Only three drops are needed, at morning and/or night, 365 days a year – hence the name. The formula contains Lancaster’s patented RPF technology, which is designed to stimulate the skin’s own defence system against damaging free radicals. In clinical tests, skin smoothness was improved by 48% after four weeks, and wrinkles reduced by 22%.
365 Cellular Elixir is presented in a luxurious glass bottle, complete with dropper for precise application.
It will begin rolling out on the UK domestic market this September. The recommended domestic price point is £39 (US$64).
