Coty extends Chloé Atelier des Fleurs experience with new fragrances and bodycare

US beauty powerhouse Coty has expanded the Chloé Atelier des Fleurs experience with three fragrances under the Les Fleurs de Nuit range: Orchidée de Minuit, Nuit d’Oranger and Tubéreuse Lazuli.

The experience now also includes bodycare products with the Atelier des Mains line featuring scented soaps and hand creams in three scents: Cedrus, Santalum and Magnolia Alba.

The Les Fleurs de Nuit fragrances pay tribute to Chloé Founder Gaby Aghion, embracing different facets of three white flowers that bloom in the night – white orchid, orange blossom and tuberose.

Coty noted: “The maison has created three enchanting compositions housed in a powerful, cobalt-blue version of the iconic Atelier des Fleurs bottle, inspired by the vast, starry firmament above.”

The scents are sealed in the Bleu Nuit flacon, with a wavy glass silhouette and curved gadroons a nod to Chloé’s signature sunray pleat design. The textured beige lid evokes the sand that inspired Aghion, who often referenced her Egyptian roots.

Orchidée de Minuit incorporates the white orchid, which opens in the night once in its life and exudes a scent that entices pollinators, allowing vanilla pods to grow.

Perfumers Mathieu Nardin and Cécile Matton said: “In Orchidée de Minuit, we have explored the animal aspect of vanilla by elevating its hypnotic facet and transforming it almost into a dark blossom.”

Orchid notes entwine with clove and rum aromas, combined with notes of jasmine and vanilla, as well as benzoin and styrax resins.

Nuit d’Oranger takes inspiration from the Mediterranean Basin – bitter orange petitgrain, pink peppercorn and bergamot combine for fresh top notes. Neroli transitions to an orange blossom absolute, while a blend of yerba mate and patchouli adds a woody, herbal layer.

“I understood the true potency of orange blossom when attending a harvest, right before dawn,” explained perfumer Alex Lee. “Just after opening, the flowers exhale this force, this ambery sensuality, this unexpected animality.”

The fragrances are rounded up with Tubéreuse Lazuli, which features bergamot and pink pepper with a blend of Indian tuberose, osmanthus and jasmine. White oud, patchouli and sandalwood add woodiness.

Perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault said: “For Tubéreuse Lazuli, my intention was to capture the tuberose at twilight, when it blooms in the darkness after being warmed by the sun during the daytime.

“With the moonbeams bouncing off its petals, it exudes its most bewitching notes.”

The Chloé fragrance collection metamorphs for the first time into skincare products, drawing on floral essences to “complete the perfume ritual”.

The Atelier des Mains scented soap and hand cream are available in three essential fragrances of the Atelier des Fleurs.

The ivory-coloured soap is engraved with the Chloé name and the emblematic gadroon adornment of the Ateliers des Fleurs collection.

Reinstating the house’s sustainability commitments, the soap is vegan, free of artificial colours and formulated with 95% natural-origin ingredients.

The vegan hand cream is infused with shea butter and features a minimum 96% natural-origin ingredients. The non-sticky formula is sealed in an ivory-coloured tube crafted with recyclable aluminium. ✈
