Coty Travel Retail has unveiled the Jardin d’Égypte, expanding Chloé’s Nomade fragrance line.
Inspired by Egypt’s rich olfactory heritage, the scent made its European travel retail debut in early February and is set to launch across Asia in March.

Launched in 2018, Chloé Nomade takes inspiration from the spirit of travel and femininity.
Jardin d’Égypte marks the third installment in the Nomade series, continuing the olfactory journey of Nuit d’Égypte and Lumière d’Égypte.
This latest expression honours the Egyptian roots of Chloé Founder Gaby Aghion, evoking the land of sweeping deserts and verdant valleys, cherished in her memories as warm and magical.

Jardin d’Égypte draws inspiration from the papyrus, a native plant flourishing in the Nile Delta, sacred to the ancient Egyptians as a representation of eternal life and renewal.
To capture this, the fragrance blends verdant green notes with the rich, earthy heady aromas of kyphi, a compound incense recognised as the world’s first perfume.
The earliest kyphi formulas were uncovered in the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, where priests burned the incense to honour the god Ra and used it for medicinal purposes.
Perfumers have reimagined the ancient art of kyphi as the key ingredient in the Egypt-inspired Nomade line.
Developed by perfumer Caroline Dumur, Jardin d’Égypte evokes a lush garden of fresh greenery, blooming flowers and fruit-laden trees.
It opens with solar notes of cassie flower and fresh papyrus, layered with honeyed dates and fig, which add warmth and ripeness.

The heart features kyphi, an ancient blend of cinnamon, sandalwood and myrrh.
It deepens with the bespoke solarwood accord, sandalwood oil and musky ambrette absolute, creating a lingering, sensual interplay of woods and resins.
Jardin d’Égypte is presented in the line’s signature flacon, adorned with a green ribbon that reflects the campaign imagery of papyrus stems and grass-like leaves stretching toward a sunlit sky. ✈
