French-American beauty house Coty has added three fragrances to its Chloé Atelier Des Fleurs collection.
Chêne, Hysope and Immortelle – available now in travel retail – are inspired by nature and reminiscent of foliage, wood and fresh flowers. The latest additions are formulated with 100% natural-origin scents that pay tribute to the oak tree and hyssop and immortelle flowers.
Hysope was created by perfumer Mylène Alran. For Alran, the hysope flower evokes images of her childhood in the south of France and travels across Moroccan mountains. She paired the flower with citrusy accord and rose water to craft the perfume.
Perfumer Caroline Dumur blended immortelle flowers with a salty accord to create the second perfume. Dumur aimed to recreate the natural scent of immortelle flowers found along Mediterranean beachside paths.

For perfumer Alexis Dadier, oak is the king of trees. On walks through forests on Côte d’Opale in France, he always gathers oak leaves to take home the distinctive scent of the tree. Inspired by this ritual, he created a woody fragrance that features oak extract distilled from leftover wood chips sourced from wine vats manufacturers.
The three new Atelier des Fleurs creations highlight the Maison’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact. The fragrances come in eco-friendly packaging that is fully recyclable and contains recycled materials – 100% of the cardboard for the box and 15% of the glass for the bottle.
The paper used to make the box and label is FSC certified, which means that it is sourced from sustainably managed forests. The hot gold-stamping Chloé previously used for the labels has been replaced with environmentally friendly ink-based printing. ✈
