Cognac house Camus has launched a digital version of its Master Blender Signature Experience. The immersive two-hour programme gives customers the opportunity to craft their own bespoke XO Cognac at home and learn about the secrets of blending. The virtual Master Blender Signature Experience is available for €190 at camus.fr.
Each Master Blender Signature kit contains one tasting mat, four personalised tasting glasses, one dosing pipette, one graduated test tube and one glass to create the blend. It also includes four 5cl bottles of XO Fins Bois, Borderies, Champagne and Grande Champagne Cognacs and one 5cl empty bottle in which to place the final blend.
Upon receiving the kit, customers scan a QR code to book their one-to-one blending session and choose their own preferred virtual conference format.
The experience is guided by a Camus Ambassador who leads customers through different growth areas and flavour profiles. The ambassador also teaches them about the subtleties of four of the most renowned Crus: Fins, Bois, Borderies, Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne.
Once the blend is complete, its reference is noted in the Camus book of blends and registered alongside the house’s other XO Cognacs.
At the end of the experience, customers will have their Cognac creations delivered to their home address within three weeks. The blend comes in a personalised 50cl bottle, packaged in a special box.
