UK/NETHERLANDS. Super-premium skincare brand Crème de la Mer (part of the Estée Lauder Companies) has been introduced at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in partnership with Kappé International.
The La Mer site occupies a prime location in terminal two’s Perfumes and Cosmetics store. The installation includes the brand’s signature salt water fish tank.
Estée Lauder Travel Retail Vice President/General Manager Europe-Middle-East-Africa Stephane Beraud commented: “We are extremely pleased to see the launch of La Mer at what is one of the best airport doors in the world.
“The brand will receive a high level of exposure in what we believe is an appropriate environment for such a prestigious product. The management team at Kappé have worked with us to ensure a sleek state-of-the-art design for the La Mer site which reflects the prestige image of the brand.”
Kappé International Managing Director Gemma Whelehan added: “Schiphol Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world with millions of passengers travelling through every year. With the increasing traffic we see passing through our airport I believe that this will be a very successful venture for both La Mer and Kappé. We are very pleased to have La Mer at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We believe this offer satisfies a real customer demand.”
