FRANCE/INTERNATIONAL. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has confirmed next year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will return to Cannes, running from 28 September to 2 October.
The conference will be staged on Monday 29 September, TFWA revealed at its closing press conference.
TFWA said: “Solid foundations between TFWA and the city of Cannes, cemented by a long-running deal to host the conference in the French city, mean that delegates can look forward to returning to the French Riviera for another year.”
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen, who will stand down from his position in December, commented: “As we look back on the wonderful week spent at Cannes this year, it is time to turn our attention to the next time our industry will reconvene at the Palais in 2025.
“Spirits were high this year to mark 40 years of our prestigious association and it is this spirit of buoyant optimism which I remember as I leave my position as TFWA President at the end of this year.
“Although I will not be attending in the capacity as President at next year’s event, I am certain that the Association is in safe hands and wish my successor all the best in their role.”
