
David Wilson has been appointed Managing Director Global Travel Retail at family-held drinks company William Grant & Sons.
Wilson is well-known and highly regarded in the travel retail channel from his near five-year term as Managing Director – Global Travel Retail with Beam Suntory, a position he held until July 2019.
Since August 2019 he has been Managing Director at Quality Spirits International, the William Grant & Sons-owned QSI private label drinks supply specialist. William Grant & Sons boasts a powerful travel retail porfolio, ranging from the channel’s biggest-selling single malt whisky Glenfiddich to Hendrick’s Gin, Grant’s, Monkey Shoulder, The Balvenie, Tullamore D.E.W. and many others.
William Grant & Sons Regional President Asia Pacific and Global Travel Doug Bagley told The Moodie Davitt Report: “I am delighted that David is joining the company in such a key role as we seek to help lead recovery in the travel retail.
