Oettinger Davidoff has launched Avo Cigars Seasons Series 2023, a new line offering four limited editions inspired by seasonal tastes and smells.
The Spring release kicks off the series, with 4,000 boxes of ten diadema cigars available later this month. According to Davidoff, the spring blend capture the season’s “jauntiness and optimistic spirit”.

Oettinger Davidoff CMO Edward Simon said: “This special release has been carefully created by our Master Blenders who have worked with tobaccos across multi-faceted origins to craft the perfect seasonal blends.”
Tobaccos from diverse growing regions such as Ecuador and the Dominican Republic are included and aged for up to 14 years. All blends come in a 2 x 16.8cm diadema format and are of medium intensity.
Avo Cigars will release further editions at the start of each season, with aficionados encouraged to enjoy the cigars during the selected time of the year.
The Spring edition offers floral notes from the Dominican San Vicente seco and the Hybrid 192 visus tobaccos and light-coloured Ecuador Corojo wrapper while Summer has a shiny, dark brown Ecuador Corojo wrapper, with a binder from Mexico and filler from Dominican Republic.
The Autumn edition offers complex notes of dried fruits, mixed nuts and sweet spice in a Mexican San Andres wrapper and Dominican Republic binder and filler and Winter’s Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper blends with Dominican tobacco to deliver herbal, woody notes.
All four editions are presented in boxes of ten cigars each, with packaging design details reflecting seasonal colours and graphics. Together the boxes illustrate the flow of one year with visually connected patterns and themes.
