DECORTÉ introduces first European travel retail store at Samaritaine Paris with DFS Group

Dutch product and interior designer Marcel Wanders incorporated textured panels in the monochromatic counters

FRANCE. KOSÉ Travel Retail has partnered with DFS Group to open a DECORTÉ counter in Samaritaine Paris, its first European point-of-sale.

The 18.8sq m store is located in the ground floor of Samaritaine Paris and offers DECORTÉ’s best-selling lines and hero products. These include the revamped AQ line, AQ Meliority, Lift Dimension, Liposome, Phytotune and Herbal Series with more to come in the following months. Samaritaine Paris is DFS Group’s flagship department store in the heart of Paris. It offers more than 20,000 square meters with over 600 luxury and avant-garde brands from the worlds of fashion, watchmaking and jewellery, as well as the largest beauty space in Europe.

The opening drives KOSÉ Travel Retail’s global expansion strategy and represents a statement of confidence from KOSÉ Corporation and DECORTÉ about the future of the global travel retail.

The counter is designed in collaboration with Dutch product and interior designer Marcel Wanders. It features a striking monochromatic colour way, accented with contemporary displays and visuals. The retail concept aims to marry ‘DECORTÉ’s vision of luxury with the simplicity of Japanese skincare’, the brand owner said.

Notably, the store has a dedicated wall display for DECORTÉ’s hero product, Liposome, which is inspired by the shape of the Liposome capsule.

Expert beauty consultants are on-hand to enhance the shopping experience, highlight different DECORTÉ products and recommend personalised skincare routines to customers.

The AQ Meliority collection is the pinnacle of DECORTE’s anti-aging portfolio. It is formulated with Green Tea extract, Mucuna Bea Extract and White Birch water.

One of DECORTÉ’s core philosophies is to ensure that its products work effectively. The ‘Emulsion First’ campaign encourages consumers to use the emulsion first as it enhances the penetration of the DECORTÉ Lotion.

The DECORTÉ Emulsion nourishes the skin and supplements lipids and other water-retaining ingredients, softening the top layers of the skin and therefore enhancing the efficacy of the DECORTÉ Lotion, which is the next step of the DECORTÉ Skin System.
