USA. Global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North has completed its 26-unit foodservice programme at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with a three-venue Terminal 3 food court.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport CEO and Director of Aviation Mark Gale said: “The new food court will fill a huge demand from airport guests and will be a great addition to the dining options in Terminal 3. Additionally, Terminal 4 travellers can access this dining venue via the post-security walkway connecting the two terminals.”

Pollo Tropical – founded in 1988 in Miami and now with more than 170 venues – is the first airport location for the restaurant brand.

The food court blends local and national brands. Fort Lauderdale brand BurgerFi is pictured above and the new Dunkin’ outlet appears below.

The restaurant offers quick, casual service with a focus on fresh, citrus-marinated grilled chicken. Chicken dishes are accompanied by Pollo Tropical’s well-known platters which include sides of rice, beans and plantains. Wraps, sandwiches and salads are also available.

Local brand BurgerFi established in 2011 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and with over 120 locations – serves high-quality Angus beef and wagyu burgers, a vegetarian ‘VegeFi’ burger, hot dogs, fried and grilled chicken, fries, onion rings and shakes.

The line-up is completed by national brand Dunkin’, which serves a variety of coffees to accompany its staple offer of doughnuts and bagels. The brand has more than 13,800 locations across nearly 40 global markets, and is part of the Inspire Brands portfolio.
