Delaware North’s Scott Socha reassumes leadership of Travel division

USA. Global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North – whose food & beverage operations include venues in 22 US airports – has announced Scott Socha as Group President of its Travel division.

He will retain his current responsibilities as Group President of Delaware North’s Parks & Resorts and Australia divisions.

A veteran of more than 25 years with the company, Socha reassumes the top travel role having previously held it from 2019 to 2021.

Scott Socha is back at the helm of the Delaware North Travel division

During that period, he oversaw the acquisition of Creative Food Group, which added 35 restaurants across five airports to the company’s travel portfolio.

Earlier in his career, he spent six years as Vice President and Treasurer for Delaware North, overseeing financial planning and analysis, treasury and risk management across all company divisions.

Delaware North Executive Vice President and Chief Operating officer Amy Latimer said: “With Scott’s leadership overseeing both subsidiaries, we’ll better realise an end-to-end guest experience as travellers pass through the airports on their way to national parks and attractions.

“There are some inherent synergies between our Travel and Parks & Resorts businesses, including the need for a keen understanding of partnership with various divisions of government. This is an area where Scott has excelled in leading our Parks business.” ‍

The world’s only event dedicated solely to the airport food & beverage and hospitality sectors makes a welcome return to the US in June. Please contact The Moodie Davitt Report Head of Events Vincci Chung at Vincci@MoodieDavittReport.com for details.
