INDIA. Delhi Duty Free has announced record monthly sales of INR149 crore (US$18.3 million) in November.
CEO Ashish Chopra said: “The credit for achieving highest monthly sales goes to teams across departments and our focus on continuously improving the customer value proposition.
“In addition, we continue to invest in staff skills and enhanced training. Delhi Duty Free is on track to maintain its current growth rate through 2022 and beyond. I’d also like to thank our suppliers and our loyal customers, who have contributed to our success.”

The retailer said that sales have now returned to pre-pandemic levels, as have staff numbers. To support the busy holiday and new year season, the company is also planning store-wide promotions and brand activations.
